Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Fixer app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Fixer is a marketplace that connects clients seeking home services with skilled workers. Fixer Kft. acts as an intermediary — we do not directly provide home services. The contract for services is between the client and the worker.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Fixer
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• One account per person/business

4. Worker Verification

Workers must submit valid identification and relevant trade certifications. Fixer verifies these documents in good faith but does not guarantee the accuracy of certifications or the quality of work performed.

5. Payments and Fees

• Clients pay the agreed amount into escrow when accepting a job offer
• Funds are released to the worker upon client approval of completed work
• Fixer deducts a platform fee (15% standard, 10% for Worker Pro) from worker payments
• In case of disputes, Fixer mediates but makes no guarantee of outcome

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent jobs or profiles
• Bypassing the platform for payments (circumvention)
• Harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any user
• Violating any applicable law or regulation

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and technology on Fixer belong to Fixer Kft. Users retain ownership of content they submit (job descriptions, photos) but grant Fixer a licence to display and use it for service operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixer Kft. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Budapest, Hungary.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
