Fixer Kft. ('Fixer', 'we', 'us', 'our') is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Account data: Name, email address, phone number, profile photo
Identity verification (workers): Government-issued ID, trade certifications
Job data: Job descriptions, photos, location, communications
Payment data: Processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card details.
Device data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version
Usage data: Features used, pages visited, timestamps

3. How We Use Your Data

Providing and operating the Fixer platform
Matching clients with workers
Processing payments via escrow
Auto-translating communications via Claude API (Anthropic)
Sending notifications about your jobs
Improving our service through analytics
Complying with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Contract performance: Processing necessary to fulfil the service
Legitimate interests: Analytics, fraud prevention, service improvement
Legal obligation: Financial records, tax compliance
Consent: Marketing communications (opt-in only)

5. Data Retention

Active account data: retained while account is active
Closed accounts: anonymised within 90 days, except financial records retained 8 years
Job data: retained 2 years after job completion
Identity documents: deleted 30 days after verification
